Internet Explorer is the most popular web browser produced by Microsoft for its Windows platform.

This new version, which goes hand in hand with the launch of the new Windows Vista, adopts certain aspects that work well in other browsers making it a complete and versatile application. Among other characteristics the following can be highlighted:

• Dynamic protection against malware and phishing.

• Includes a new status bar to maintain connection security by means of warning notices and pop-up blocks.

• Improved interface: This has been improved to maximize the area of the screen that displays a webpage.

• Advanced printing: Automatically scales a webpage for printing, so the entire webpage fits on the printed page.

• Instant search box: Web searches have become faster since the introduction of the search box within the toolbar which allows you to choose your favourite search provider.

• Fuentes RSS: Internet Explorer automatically detects RSS feeds on sites and lights up an icon on the toolbar. A single click on the icon allows you to preview and, if desired, you can subscribe to the RSS feed so you are automatically notified as content is updated.

• Tabbed browsing by easily switching from one site to another through tabs at the top of the browser frame.

• Zoom

In order to use Internet Explorer you have to meet the following system requirements:
